Humanity rules earth with impunity that’s a universal fact we all know about,the aspect I want to pick up is not that humans do this or that etc. I’m no Jane Goodall my point is simple we are not ACCOUNTABLE for our actions and case in point is the way we send out data and how it is used is something we just don’t want to know about.All of you might have a VA (Virtual Assistant) at home like Google Home or Amazon Echo or even your iPhone or iPad but, Siri, Alexa and Ok Google aren’t really as cute or caring as they sound. To be honest not even close. The fact is all of your recorded voice data is sent to the onsite servers of the tech giant you own the product of. The voice data is sent for QUALITY CONTROL but we all know humans aren’t well known for their self – control. So, say while having sex you have your VA on then, definitely someone is going to enjoy hearing your amazing sounds. Well that was really creepy but that isn’t even the beginning.
We all have seen movies where an Artificial Intelligence takes over the world (at least tries to) The Terminator, TRON, 2001: A Space Odyssey. Bear in mind I was born at a time when The Matrix was already a Sci – Fi Classic and Yahoo was reaching its peak. So yes, I’m that young. Now this question will come to your mind that will AI be able to take over the world and that my readers is an excellent question.
Well a little background for all the people who aren’t really familiar with Artificial Intelligence. AI is not a replication of human intelligence but only the continuous process of learning, improving and if necessary un-learning to solve problems that require adaptive understanding for instance Making a cup of tea is an algorithmic problem since it has a fixed procedure and an algorithm is simply a set of instructions to solve a problem. A problem like Stock Trading is an adaptive learning problem since the same procedure can’t be applied every time.
So, getting to the point which is that creating an AI isn’t the problem but taking and fulfilling the responsibility of keeping it safe is the major problem. As computers solve problems far quicker than a human for comparison a 2 GHz speed processor can solve 2 billion problems a second. And for us 7 raised to the power 3 takes a lot of time. (Hang in there I’ll tell the answer at the end I’m a Christopher Nolan fan) the point here I’m trying to make is that an AI can become perfect at things way faster than what we can accomplish and here is where the line between WHITE and BLACK starts getting A LOT of GREY. A tight rope to walk if you ask me.
Now if you ask me if Mark Zuckerberg or Elon Musk is right about AI evolution my answer is, I don’t know and simply because both seem plausible enough. If an AI is given data it can solve great problems easily but if it’s given a lot of data that is risky.

As I told you above that we are creating monsters or actually fire is the better term. Fire can be used to warm your hands in a cold Russian December or burn your house down. Which is why its crucial to create a guideline that have to be adhered to unless you are Ted Bundy or Arthur Fleck and simply want to see people in pain. Keeping that in mind creating an AI is definitely equivalent to playing with fire. And keep in mind there is a vast degree of difference between a believer and being a fanatic although both work for a cause. A good practical case to explain this would be listening to every instruction your parent gives and questioning it if you don’t feel its right rather than blindly following it after all, supporting democracy and critiquing it are although different things but should co-exist. My advice, don’t keep a one-track mind.

If you wanted to know if an AI can take over the world then yes, they can and before I forget 7 to the power 3 is 729. Congrats if you solved on paper. Now that you are aware of the risks and you are interested in developing an AI then start learning Math and Python. At lastbe careful because AI means Artificial Intelligence and not Allegiance to Insanity. I know I used a lot of pop culture references it’s because I’m a cheaper variant of Chandler Bing and my favourite film on repeat is Deadpool. Cheers guys have a good one catch you later.
