Krupasindhu is a Marathi web-series on ZEE5 based on the life and teachings of Akkalkot’s Sadguru Shree Swami Samarth Maharaj. The character of Sadguru is played by Prafull Samant, talented Marathi actor with a theatre background. The socio-religious family drama is a collection of inspiring stories from the saint’s life. The Saint was a highly knowledgeable person with supernatural powers. In every episode, a non-believer turns into a follower of Swami Samarth, influenced by the miracles of the saint. Swami Samarth Maharaj believed in simple living and his requirements were quite less. He used to wear a single loincloth and ate whatever his disciples gave him. He spent twenty-two years of his life reforming the people of Akkalkot. The divine personality had no record of taking birth but he took samadhi in Akkalkot itself. Gripping anecdotes bind the audience enchantingly and strengthen their belief in pure, simple living.
Krupasindhu is one of those ZEE5 shows I highly recommend. One of the biggest reasons being the actor playing the role of Swami Samarth Maharaj, Prafull Samant.

Prafull Samant has a striking resemblance to the available pictures of Swami Samarth. He looks composed and learned like the Saint himself. No doubt, the actor has worked hard to make this role memorable. Fluctuations in the emotions are very well played by him. Anger, joy, sadness, sympathy, each emotion originates naturally. I don’t think anybody else could make this role eternal.
Experienced Theatre Actor
The protagonist, Prafull Samant is from a theatrical background. He’s an experienced actor who has delivered one of the best roles of his life as Swami Samarth in Krupasindhu. Balanced demonstration of emotions and awesome chemistry with co-actors proves he’s a polished actor.
